Happy Valentine’s Day!  XOXO

… you all know how much I love you!

As an official Ambassador of the GI2MR welcoming committee, I must say that the flux of new members is staggering, and with great variety too!  We have teens just getting started, people interested in weight loss, those overcoming illnesses, and just a wide range of all ages of people who are just fed up with the status quo and want more from life!

  • They want to Shine!
  • They want to Glow!
  • They want to Keep it Juicy!

I can’t think of a better time than Valentine’s Day to acknowledge all of our efforts to remain healthy, fit, full of energy, and loving ourselves.  No matter what stage you’re at or how long you have been “raw,” I congratulate you on a job well done!  So whether you have that special someone in your life or not, I encourage you to be your own Valentine this year.

  • Write yourself a letter of appreciation…
  • Give yourself a big fat kiss(es)…
  • And unless you’re juicing… eat some CACAO!

Chocolate Body Art
Cacao, raw foodist’s #1 superfood, is nature’s main source for magnesium.  Magnesium builds healthy bones, relaxes muscles, supports the heart, and increases flexibility, brainpower, and even alkalinity.  It is estimated that over 80% of the population in the United States is deficient in this vital mineral.

Conclusion = Treat yourself to the real deal this Valentine’s Day.

If the box is a gigantic red heart with a Walmart sticker on it and a $7.99 tear off cardboard price tag, PUT IT DOWN!

And don’t be afraid to experiment with cacao and make it yourself.  After dining on your zucchini spaghetti with your favorite cashew dill cream sauce, get your hands dirty and make some chocolates.  Or… lightly warm it under 118 degrees until it turns into a liquid and then use your imagination.

Finally, food you can play with!

Pucker Up Passion Juice
This is one fruity concoction you won’t want to miss out on.  Its syrupy consistency is a nice change from the thin green liquids with floating particles that I have been consuming as of lately.  But, this isn’t permission to skip out on your greens.

  • Grapefruit (2)
  • Apples (4)
  • Lemon (1)
  • Carrots (7 small)
  • Cinnamon
  • Maca (1 tsp)
  • Ginger (optional)

A Slip Of The Tongue
I promised a juice feasting video to my fellow feasters from GI2MR, so despite my carnal cacao concoction above, I had to deliver.  I received so many emails and comments in regards to emotions from the last post that I thought I would use that subject again and make a follow-up video for all of those that are juice feasting, or experiencing emotional detox with raw foods in general.

Hey Philip, I commented a while back about how my husband is from Connecticut too and how I thought you looked like us. I am high raw, about 80% I guess, and I am really hoping to get my husband in the raw groove. I told him about you and how you said you were half Puerto Rican. He came on your site and devoured everything and I really believe that he is getting closer. He is half Puerto Rican too and to be honest there aren’t many raw Latinos that I know about. Anyway, he was inspired because he could see a bit of himself in you that he hasn’t seen before and I really appreciate you being an inspiration to him and to me. I must add that he is extremely supportive of me and the choices I make for myself and our kids he just does not see himself doing it yet.
I just wanted to send you a big thank you!

P.S. Since being on the juice feast your face looks totally different. You look great!

I love how you have decided to log your journey in your own way. With the combination of posts and videos, you are sharing your journey with us. And because you aren’t posting every day, I always get excited when it’s been about a week. I want to see what you’re up to!

    Please keep making weekly videos!

    Keep it juicy, bro!
